You will need a copy of your return and then you can view...

You will need a copy of your return and then you can view the specific line number that contains the amount of each credit. For the Child Tax Credit, there are really two different credits - the first part (Child Tax Credit) can only reduce your tax liability (reducing your tax liability often results in more refund, however), but the second one (Additional Child Tax Credit) can directly add to your refund even if you have no tax liability. So, while the CTC can be up to $1,000 per child - you may see that amount split between those two lines. Also, note that the ACTC has a misleading name as it's not referring to additional children - it's referring to the leftover amount of the CTC.

If you have already filed your return, then follow this TurboTax FAQ to print a copy for your own records. If you have not filed your return yet, then you can either print your return before filing or just Preview your Form 1040 using this TurboTax FAQ

The exact line number will depend on which Form 1040 you have filed. It will be listed at the top left corner of your form.

For Earned Income Credit -

Form 1040A: Line 42a

Form 1040: Line 66a

For Child Tax Credit (this portion does not directly add to your refund, it only reduces your taxes owed)

Form 1040A: Line 35

Form 1040: Line 52

For Additional Child Tax Credit (this portion is refundable and will directly increase your refund) -

Form 1040A: Line 43

Form 1040: Line 67
