    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, as long as the mortgage is &lt;B&gt;legally secured by the property.&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TurboTax does not require a 1098 to enter mortgage interest-you can enter it as if you are reading it from a 1098 mortgage statement. However, you will need a year end statement from your lender to enter the interest&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To enter mortgage interest:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
