Try this shortcut to get to the Donations interview:

Log in and open your return ("take me to my return.")
When the return is open, click in the top right corner on SEARCH.
In the search box, search for donations (without quotes) and then click the “Jump to donations” link in the search results.
Answer Yes to Did you make any donations to charity?
Continue that interview.

Federal Taxes tab
Subtab "Deductions & Credits"
"I'll choose what I work on."
You may get a screen "Your Tax Breaks" or one called "Your 2016 Deductions & Credits Page."
If you get the one "Your Tax Breaks" look for a link "All Tax Breaks" to show more categories.
Scroll down to Charitable Donations and click Visit All.
