      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can enter the taxes paid in 2016 on your 2016 tax return. You can amend your taxes for 2013, 2014, and 2015 for a refund. That is all you can do.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You won't get a tax break for entering them unless you itemized deductions in the year you paid them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
