There is no quick fix. You have to enter the deduction under the proper tax year tab. Therefore, add to the proper tab and delete from the incorrect tab. I understand how painful that would be if you entered hundreds of deductions before realizing the error.

It's a program. There should be a quick fix. I'm sure there are quite a few people that discovered the error afterward.

It's even worse in 2025!

I had a donation started in 2024 in late December. I didn't complete and changed the date to 30 Jan 2025. The entire donation has disappeared. It's not in 2025 and has been removed from 2024. I had a least 40 items entered. I am NOT happy.
