Spouse itemized deduction choice gets changed

I am married filing separately, and itemizing deductions. My spouse is also itemizing deductions. But the Turbotax software keeps changing my spouse's choice on my return to "standard deduction."

Go down to the bottom of the Deductions & Credits page....

Go down to the bottom of the Deductions & Credits page. Continue till you get to We've Chosen Standard Deduction for You. By the Change my Deduction box, you can switch.
