      <description>&lt;P&gt;Even certain taxpayers with no qualifying children can receive the Earned Income Tax Credit. You may still
qualify, below are the limits for the Earned Income Tax Credit in 2016...&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Earned income and
adjusted gross income must each be less than: &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;$14,880
- if you are filing Single, Head of Household or Widowed...with &lt;B&gt;zero qualify
children&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;$20,430
- if you are filing Married Filing Jointly...with &lt;B&gt;zero qualify children&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Investment income
must be $3,450 or less for the year.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The maximum amount
of credit for Tax Year 2016 is:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;$6,269 with three or more
     qualifying children&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;$5,572 with two qualifying
     children&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;$3,373 with one qualifying
     child&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;$506 with &lt;B&gt;no
     qualifying children&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
