It is true that unless you have a major credit card with a United States billing address, then you cannot direct purchase the TurboTax software directly from us, or use the internet version we offer over our website. Unfortunately, at this particular time, we cannot accept credit cards with non-US billing addresses.

One viable alternative solution that we might suggest instead would be for you to purchase TurboTax software from a different vendor (like one of our authorized retail partners such as Amazon.com, for instance). Rather than ordering a software download (which may be also limited to US address customers only), you could purchase the program on CD-ROM disc. Once you receive that CD-ROM disc, you could install it on your own computer, and then receive all of the free software patches and updates to the program over the internet (which is available worldwide).

It is the very same TurboTax tax software code, however you obtain it; we absolutely guarantee that. Amazon.com also does sell to Indian buyers, with an Indian address credit card, and they do ship to India (we checked), even though they have no domestic presence in the country.
