I can't find where to enter the foreign tax credit carryover for the 2016 tax year (using TT desktop version). No carryforward option in interview.

I'm using TT Premier for my 2016 taxes. My 2015 taxes (from a different preparer) are showing a $582 Foreign Tax Credit Carryforward to 2016.

After reading various threads here and going through the dialogue/interview several times I cannot find a screen that asks if I have a carryforward from a previous year.

In Forms mode, bring form 1116 worksheet up on the screen...

In Forms mode, bring form 1116 worksheet up on the screen. Scroll down near the bottom where the carryovers are displayed. Manually insert the carryover data from 2015. After that, revisit the foreign tax credit interview to make sure your entries are accounted for.
