If you paid sales tax on the lease, you may be able to deduct the sales tax as a major purchase in the sales tax deduction section. Sales taxes are an itemized deduction and can only be deducted in place of state income taxes. You only get a tax benefit if the total of all your itemized deductions is more than the standard deduction.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
