      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, this does not include the Medicare wages and tips reported on your W-2. The question is referring to &lt;B&gt;out-of-pocket medical expenses&lt;/B&gt; you paid in 2016. Because medical expenses are only deductible to the extent they exceed 10% of your adjusted gross income (7.5% if you were age 65 or older in 2016), TurboTax has determined that your medical expenses won't affect your return unless they are greater than $2,000.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
