You might be seeing this error message because of a typo while entering in your dependent's information in the Personal Information section. The "Federal Review" process will walk you through all of the questions and information needed to receive the credit.

If TurboTax indicates you are disqualified from receiving the Earned Income Credit it will show the reason why at the end of the EIC section.
