According to &lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p535.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;IRS Pub 535: Business Expenses&lt;/A&gt;, you can generally deduct premiums you pay for insurance related to your trade or business, such as insurance that covers your personal liability for professional negligence resulting in injury or damage to patients
