    <description>&lt;P&gt;Aside from supplies everything school related was paid for by financial aid and I've already submitted my federal return. My taxes this year fell below the poverty line at about $9,800. Is this oversight worth making a correction?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you did not use your 1099-Q distribution for qualified tuition, related fees, books and room and board, then the amount will be taxable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If so, you should amend you return &lt;B&gt;only after your federal return has been accepted and you have received your refund&lt;/B&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 2018 1040X (form used to amend a return) is not yet available in TurboTax but will be soon.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
