      <description>Thanks for the response.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;This $9k expense was focused on determining the best business for me to start, which led me to starting a business in 2018.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I've reported income and expenses for that business.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Could I allocate that expense against 2018 business income as a startup consulting cost?</description>
