I'm almost finished with my taxes but Turbotax says I can't get the Energy Credit because the law was not renewed yet. I went on line and found this: "For the 2018 tax year, under the federal government's Nonbusiness Energy Property Credit, the credits are good through 2019. " We put new energy efficient windows in our home and filled out the proper form in Turbotax, but the credit doesn't flow to our return.
