      <description>Note the requirement in that post "He or she was a U.S. citizen or legal resident, or was a resident of Canada or Mexico, for some part of the year."&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;As you didn't mention it, I'm assuming Mom is not a US Citizen or resident.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;A "short visit" does not confer resident status.</description>
