Are cash deposit into a HSA shown on a 1099-SA

on the W2 box 12 shows $735, the 1099-SA shows $1403.90, we made a $1000 cash deposit in our HSA. Which of these gets entered in TurboTax?

You would put the numbers on your 1099-SA in Turbo Tax. To enter the 1099-SA go to:

1) Search box on top right of the screen and type in "1099-SA"

2) Screen will come up with "Jump to 1099 SA"

3) Scroll down to "Where do I enter my 1099-SA?" thats where you would put in the information on your 1099-SA

The W-2 entry will put in the $735 in Box 12.

is the $1000 cash deposit included in the amount on the 1099-SA or should we include that also
