      <description>&lt;P&gt;It depends.&amp;nbsp; If you are both filing a joint return, then yes, it can be included on the return.&amp;nbsp; However, what I think you would like to know is if she can claim it if you file separately and she will not be able to do so.&amp;nbsp; Only the person whose name is on the mortgage can claim the interest on their tax return.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
