topic Deduction Discrepancy in Deductions & credits

After completing my deductions TurboTax unexpectedly reflected a much higher deduction than I expected. When I clicked the "Show me the estimated breakdown" drop down it showed $98k in "Other Itemized Deductions." However I don't remember inputting anything that should have that high a deduction and when I go to the Deductions and Credits Summary I don't see the $98k listed and can't locate it's origin anywhere. How do confirm what this is is? I don't want to falsely claim this huge deduction.

This is a carryover from somewhere else or from a K1, maybe? You definitely don't want to file with a phantom credit that is showing up from somewhere. If you go all the way through the filing process up to where you are going to file the return you will be able to view a pdf of the tax return BEFORE you file it. You can review what it is telling the IRS that the credit is for and then go back and adjust that entry.
