Turbotax is rejecting the 1099-INT without a FEIN and don't allow to proceed. I've tried to keep it blank, fill with 0s, 1s and 9s without success.

A workaround that has functioned for other users is to enter it in the FEIN format, but with all 0's. Although I see that you tried all-zeroes before, ensure that you are using the correct 9 digit format:

00-0000000

Is there a more specific error message that comes up when you try these workarounds?

You can enter interest income from a foreign bank in TurboTax without entering an EIN.

Go to Wages & Income>Investments and Savings and Add Investments then Enter a different way.

Select Interest, Type it in myself, and enter payer's name and interest amount.

This option could not be found. Everywhere where there is interest earning it looks for a 1099-INT.

When you enter the 1099-INT following the directions given above by Karis_F, you will be able to enter your form without having to enter a tax ID for the bank.

Select Enter a different way

Select the 1099-INT and Type it in myself

Enter payer's name and interest amount

If you can't get past the FEIN, then report the interest as "other income". It's not the proper way to do it, but you will be reporting the income.
