When will Turbotax fix the bug that shows "Available now" instead of the value in the Wages & Income and Deductions & Credits pages? My particular application is the desktop for Mac.

I have been using the Desktop version for Mac and have not encountered this issue. Which Desktop version are you using (e.g., Deluxe, Premier, Home Business)?

In order for us to troubleshoot this issue, you can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions for TurboTax Desktop for Mac users:

From the black bar at the top of your screen, select Help
Click Send Tax File to TurboTax Agent
Click Send on the message that pops up
TurboTax will create a "sanitized" copy of your return information with no personal info
Post the token number here in this thread. If it appears with a dash or other character, include the character as well.

We will then be able to review your file to see what you are seeing, and we can determine what is going on in your return and provide you with a suggested resolution.

I am using Deluxe. Tax file has been sent. Token number is 60856215-57473171. Also, just as a FYI, I'm seeing this issue on my two Mac computers and also my MacBook Pro. All using the same Deluxe version that I downloaded.

Due to some other issues, I have not been able to open your return on my Mac. However, I have had a number of test returns open and have not seen the issue you described. Would it be possible for you to upload a screenshot of what you are seeing with "Available Now" in place of values.

We received this suggestion from another internal source:

If you need to proceed now, you can enter and review items through the topic screens directly; values will calculate correctly even if the landing label shows “Available now.” Workaround:

Open each affected topic (e.g., W-2, 1099‑INT, Property Taxes) via “I’ll choose what I work on,” complete/revisit the forms, and verify totals in Forms Mode; the landing table’s status text doesn’t affect calculations or filing.

Thank you for providing the screenshot.

What happens if you click on Update next to any of the items for which "Available Now" is shown in the 2025 column?
Also, if you haven't already, when you first click on Deductions & Credits and TurboTax asks how you want to enter your deductions and credits, try clicking "I'll choose what I work on" rather than having the program walk you through everything.

Each of the forms where "Available now" is currently shown, has data entered. But, instead of showing the values, "Available now" is what is shown.

Regarding the second point, I only use "I'll choose what I work on". I never have the program walk me through the steps.

Thank you. To confirm, are you still able to Update those line items that show "Available Now" in the 2025 column if needed? And can you confirm that the data already entered appears in the appropriate areas of the returns?

I can update the data for each area and the values "appear" to populate in the forms. That said, can I trust that Turbotax is doing this properly? If there is still a bug with the "Available now", not sure what other underlying bugs there may still be. Thanks.

Hi. I received the attached email however when I click on the "these instructions" link, I get a permissions error (attached).

I downloaded the latest version of TurboTax (I had to upgrade to premier) and the issue is still not resolved. What is the permissions issue and how do I download the version described in the email?

When you open the TurboTax download product, it will typically check for updates after it is opened and prompt you to allow it to update the software.

To manually update the software after it has been opened, you can click Online in the black banner at the top toward the left, then select Check for Updates from the dropdown. You'll click Yes to save your return (if it's open) and TurboTax download will check for updates and let you know if it found any or if your software is up to date.

We confirmed that the developers have tested the issue. Though "Available Now" displayed in your return, all of the data entered was there in the return. The display error could not be duplicated in other returns.

The issue was confirmed as a display error only, so you can continue to file your return and be assured the information you entered is there.

Thank you. I removed and reinstalled Turbotax again and still have the same problem. I appreciate that you confirmed the data is accurate. Here are my latest screenshots after the new install. One of the build data and the other from the app showing the issue remains. This is on MAC OS Tahoe 26.3 (25D125).

Thank you for this information. Since the developers could not replicate the issue in other returns and it doesn't affect the accuracy of your return, it is not under further investigation at this time.

Every computer has a unique combination of components, settings, programs, services, and users. This means TurboTax can install and run flawlessly on one computer, but another computer's configuration can cause conflicts when installing, launching, or running TurboTax.

Ok. I'll consider this a done deal then. Just FYI, in all my years of using TurboTax, this is the first time I've encountered a unique issue. Interesting regarding the dependencies on the computer that can affect this. Anyway, thanks for all the help.
