As of early 2026, Hunter Douglas has not widely published a single "universal" QMID on their main landing pages. However, for products installed in 2025, the IRS requires a 4-digit Qualified Manufacturer (QM) Code. For products installed starting January 1, 2026, the IRS transition involves moving toward a 17-character Product Identification Number (PIN).

Based on current industry data and manufacturer certification statements:

For 2025 installations: Many taxpayers have successfully used the code "HD11" or "HUNT" for Hunter Douglas on Form 5695, but this can vary by specific product line.

The Certification Statement: Hunter Douglas explicitly provides a Manufacturer’s Certification Statement for each year. This PDF is the "legal" proof you need for your records. You can usually download the latest version directly from hunterdouglas.com/tax-credit.

Tried HD11 or HUNT, they didn’t work out. The QMID format is <alphabet> <number><alphabet><number> for IRS approved values for respective companies. Any other suggestions?

You should try H1D1. But remember that the letter from Hunter Douglas is the most important thing. Download it and keep it for your records.
