"Yes, post-tax (after-tax) HSA contributions are fully tax-deductible. If you contribute to an HSA outside of payroll deductions, you can claim this as an "above-the-line" deduction on your federal income tax return (Form 1040, Schedule 1), reducing your taxable income even if you do not itemize. These contributions are subject to annual IRS limits."

You are correct, you can deduct this. Be aware that payroll tax still applies when you make a personal contribution. If you contributed via your paycheck, then it would be payroll tax free also. Just a note, in case you'd like to update your paycheck contributions in the future.

Here is how to navigate to make the entry:

Click on Federal Taxes, Deduction & Credits
Choose HSA, MSA Contributions
Continue until you see a page titled "Let's enter (your name's) HSA contributions" which will show any deductions already computed from your W-2 in a box that is greyed out, and another box for contributions you personally made.
Enter the amount you personally made.
