To enter charitable donations -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Charitable Donations
On Donations to Charity, click on the start or update button

Enter the total amount you gave to the church for the year.

Your checks to the church are considered charitable contributions.

You can deduct these on your tax return (subject to limitations).

Here is how to enter the contributions in TurboTax Online, from How do I enter my charitable donations in TurboTax?"

Go to the Donations to Charity screen under Deductions & Credits.
Answer Yes to the question Did you make any donations to charity in 2025?
Follow the onscreen instructions to finish entering your donations.
