Unable to uncheck box at Other Interest and Dividends

Even though the last box, "None of the above", is checked, I cannot uncheck the box, "Received interest payments from a seller-financed mortgage." The category is "Other Interest and Dividends".

You may want to go back to the beginning of that category in the Step-by-Step view. Clicking through the items again cleared it for me.

You could go back through your entries for the 1099-DIV to correct this. To go back follow these steps:

Go to Federal
Select Wages & Income
Scroll down to the Investments and Savings section
Click Edit next to Dividends (1099-DIV)
Go back through your entries, find that box and unmark it

Try these other options:

Try Clear cache and cookies .
Exit the program, restart your device, and then log in again.

If you still have this issue, try deleting the income item and entering it again.

This type of issue can occur for some users and not for others, and at different times.

I have the software version. I cleared my cache and my cookies. restarted computer. It worked until I saved my file to come back to it. When I started my taxes again. The box was checked again. I deleted my one INT form and reentered. That did not work. I am almost to the point of deleting everything and starting again. Aaarrggh!!!

If you're entering your 1099-INT in Forms view, you should try deleting it once again and then re-entering it in the Step-by-Step view (button in the upper right), and answering all the interview questions.
