    <description>I have totals but it would take a lot more work to break them down .&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I have had heart trouble so there are a lot of expense and I have a running tap from insurance but it is not broken down between doc and hoptial and test</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, breaking down medical expenses is not mandatory. &amp;nbsp;Only one, total annual amount for medical expenses that you paid is shown on Schedule A for the IRS purposes anyway. The worksheet reporting the breakdown is for your records, the IRS doesn't receive it. &amp;nbsp;Just be sure to keep all your receipts/statements supporting your expenses in case IRS ever requests them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
