However, if you&amp;nbsp;claim your mother as a&amp;nbsp;&lt;B&gt;&amp;nbsp;dependent&lt;/B&gt;, then you can claim&amp;nbsp;health insurance premiums as medical expenses. You are eligible to do so since they were paid after-tax.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
