      <description>&lt;P&gt;The Medicare premiums would be amounts reported on your SSA-1099 if you are collecting social security or that you pay out of pocket if you are eligible for Medicare but not collecting the social security. &amp;nbsp;You can also deduct any expenses for travel for medical treatment, like trips to the doctors office etc. &amp;nbsp;If you keep a log, the rate is 21 cents. &amp;nbsp;For New Jersey, however, you must have included the travel deduction on your Schedule A on the federal return. &amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN style="background: var(--ck-color-mention-background); color: var(--ck-color-mention-text);"&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/5274156"&gt;@tbxuser&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
