how do i view last year cash donations?

I need to view the cash/check donations that I made in 2023. The tax form just gives the total and I need the list and amounts.

You'll need to open your 2023 tax return. Log in to your online TurboTax account, go to your 2023 return and scroll down to a button that says "add a state". Click that and you'll be able to go back into your 2023 return and look around and not change anything. When you're done don't save and just exit.

If you used the desktop program you will need to open up last year's software.

1. You may be able to download "all forms and worksheets" not just the return.

2. It is worth noting that you are required to have receipts for all your donations, and to provide them in case of audit, and you should keep your receipts and other tax documents for 3 years in case of audit. So you should not need to see anything in your return, as long as the total of your receipts matches the total you claimed as a deduction.
