2024 Turbo tax stuck in loop

Using TT 2024 for 2024 Return. Entering Medical Expenses, I get to "Miles driven to get medical care" and TT will not let me enter a number, yet it also says "Value must be greater than 0 You entered 420 mile(s) last year."

and it will not let me go further I tried double clicking on field to get to form and entering the number, and that doesn't work either. I have tried closing the file, exiting TT and restarting it - that's no help.

Put your cursor in the box for miles.

Click on Edit at the top of the desktop program screen

Click on Add Supporting Details

With the Details window open click on Remove at the top of the window.

When you get to that entry area in the interview,,,,,try switching immediately to Forms Mode, and make the entry on the background source form there.

(I still suspect there is a Supporting Details Worksheet attached to that entry...but Forms Mode will clarify the situation)
