Warning! The issue from last year has not been corrected by TurboTax . Too bad. Again, same issue as last time:

The mortgage interest inserted in "Easy steps" is not transferred to Schedule A and because of that I am not directed to "Itemized Deduction" option and will loose money using "Standard Deduction". The only solution , for me, to get "Itemized deductions" option was to manually insert mortgage interest into the worksheet (under forms tab). Weak that Turbo Tax has not corrected this and still has same issue as last year.

What issue? I just entered a mortgage in the 2024 Premier desktop edition. The interest was entered on Schedule A and the property taxes were entered on Schedule A.

This was a straight mortgage, no refi, no HELOC, no points, my name on the Form 1098, simple.

I am using 2024 TurboTax Deluxe and I have this issue. I have fixed it as mentioned in my email, but wanted to warn others which may have that problem.
