Ok i have a 1095a form with myself my husband and daughter. my husband and i file separate . i file head of household and claim my daughter. now I did not have to pay any premium because i had the whole ptc paid in advance to company. so every month i had insurance my bill was $.00. So when I am asked the percentage to claim for my taxes because i am filing separate from my husband if i put 100% in all 3 areas , he puts 0% on all 3 areas correct? Also he is claimimg is other child from a different marriage that gets medicaid and isnt on the 1095a form we are sharing. is that going to cause any issues?

Yes, you can enter 100% on your return if he allocates 0% for all three entries. There will not be issues if he claims other dependents that are not on the 1095A form you have. See Allocating policy amounts.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are married and file separately, you cannot claim the Advanced Premium Tax Credit and may have to pay back the amounts you received unless an exception applies.

No, if you are married but filing separately and received Advance credit, you both you and your husband must claim 50% of the premium and the Advance credit. Because you are married, you are not allowed to allocate using a different percentage. You don't allocate the SLCSP, but you will need to look up the correct number to enter.

https://www.healthcare.gov/tax-tool/#/
