      <description>&lt;P&gt;That credit expired December 31, 2017 and has not been renewed. &amp;nbsp;It is part of a package of tax breaks called "Extenders" that is sometimes passed by Congress late in the tax season or even the next year. &amp;nbsp;It's probably in the program in case Congress passes it again, but as of today it is not allowed. &amp;nbsp;(Part 2 of the official form 5695 is blank.)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You would have to watch the news to see if a bill containing the tax extenders is ever introduced in Congress, it would have to be passed by both houses and signed by the president.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
