CO Form DR 1322 Not Listed As A Turbotax Document (Either upcoming or existing)

In the tax form availability for TurboTax, DR 1322 is not listed (or I cannot find it), can someone please advise on what to do in this instance?

It seems like we will not be able to file our taxes through turbotax if this isn't made available?

Searched on the Colorado state website for a DR 1332. Nothing is listed for that form in either the Individual or Corporate tax forms - https://tax.colorado.gov/forms-by-tax-type

Please post a Colorado link where this form can be found.

And the reason I could not find this form is because this credit does not go into effect until tax year 2024.

Starting January 1, 2024, Coloradans can take advantage of tax credits to install heat pumps for space heating and cooling and water heating.

@DoninGA interesting - https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb22-051 this bill here states for anyone in 2023, there should be a 10% credit. Is that a different form?

@DoninGA on https://energyoffice.colorado.gov/hptc, a bit lower on the page, it says the below. So this would seem to indicate 1322 should be fillable in the year 2023, unless I'm misunderstanding?

Those seeking a tax credit on equipment placed into service in 2023 should continue to use form DR 1322 with the Department of Revenue.

@chaosnight7 For tax year 2023 the form is a DR 1322. That form is not supported in TurboTax so you would need to complete it separately. The credit is entered on a Form DR 0104CR on Line 14. TurboTax does support the 2023 DR 0104CR. But since the DR 1322 has to be included with the state tax return you can only print and mail the return, it cannot be e-filed.

Yes, the entire Colorado state tax return will have to be printed and mailed if you are going to include the Form DR 1322 with the tax return.

I claimed the energy efficiency tax credit on my Colorado Income Tax Return. I filled out Colorado form 1322 certifying my eligibility for the tax credit. However, I then e-filed my Colorado return. Since Turbo Tax doesn't support form 1322, what should I do? Do I need to amend by Colorado Tax Return?

How to upload Colorado tax forms AFTER e-filing:

By visiting https://tax.colorado.gov/e-filer-attachments, I was able to submit the form (DR 1322) supporting my claim for an energy efficiency tax credit. Importantly, at this writing this form can't be submitted via TurboTax.

Hi, just looking for follow-up since I will likely be in the same situation - I want to e-file the state taxes via TurboTax and use E-filer for the DR 1322. Did it end up being successful?

Colorado lags behind other states with the processing of their returns. Don't despair because it will eventually be processed.
