I worked outside the US the entire year in Egypt; I maintain a home in the US and am entitled to deduct my Egyptian housing cost from my taxes. Now here is the issue, Egypt is not listed on the drop down menu, it will not let me "type" Egypt in, so i am leaving it as "No Entry". The problem is the turbo tax software will not let me proceed without an entry, What do I do, it is the only thing holding me up from filing.

Note: I have lived in Egypt since November 2020, and have filed both 2021 and 2022 taxes using turbo tax and dint have this issue. Please advise.

The situation you described is being addressed and corrected.

The following TurboTax help article includes a link where you can sign up with your email address to be notified when everything has been corrected. The article specifically mentions the Czech Republic as the country that is not shown in the list, but others are being addressed as well.

Why is Form 2555 asking for a Location where Housing Expenses Incurred and not showing Czech Republic as an available option?

On the screen Enter Location Information, you can now select Other the drop down menu. You can revisit the foreign housing exclusion section to finish your return.
