      <description>&lt;P&gt;I understand that certain home improvement projects are deductible. I had bought my house in late 2021. Do the following qualify?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- The springs on my two garage doors had to be replaced as one of the old ones snapped and the rest had become a safety issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Deep cleaning the air ducts of the house as they had apparently not been cleaned in many, many years and were really dirty&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
