@paul-turfmasters , if the address ( your business address ) is shown for purposes of mailing / contacting you then you can ignore that. The address of the property securing the loan must be your home ( if that is what the mortgage is for ). If that is not the case then you need to contact the mortgagor and have them correct the error and re-issue the 1098.

The address in the recipient's address information box really doesn't matter. What does matter, is if box 7 is checked indicating that mailing address is the property that secures the loan, or if there's an address in box 8 indicating the separate address that "does" secure the loan.
