I have three children, only one of whom is a dependent, but all three share my marketplace plan and are listed on my 1095-A.

I need help entering percentages for the three boxes:

Premium Percentage, SLCSP percentage, Advanced Payment of PTC percentage

I wonder if I can enter different percentages for the three columns, or do all three of them have to have the same number, whether I put 100, 60 or another percentage? Can I enter 100 for the first two boxes but 80 or 60 for the third, as long as my children who are filing separate returns enter 0 in the first two boxes and 20 or 40 in their third box? I assume the percentages have to add up to 100 between all of our returns.

The allocation percentage can be any amount between zero and 100% that is agreed upon by each taxpayer.

This would be your percentage of premiums, SLCSP and advanced payment of the premium tax credit, then just provide the amount for each of them. They will need the 1095-A information for each of their returns plus the percentage allocated to them so that they can complete it accurately.

Review the various scenarios in the link below for assistance with your children's returns.:

If you're listed as a dependent on your parents’ tax return, you won't have any health insurance questions to answer on your own return. TurboTax will tell you Since someone is claiming you on their 2022 taxes, you don't have to complete Health Insurance.

Thank you for the answer, TomK2023.
I still have a question on the percentages for each box. If I agree with my children, can I enter as follows:
Box A: 100%

Box B: 100%

Box C: 80%

My two non-dependent children who share my Marketplace plan would enter 0%, 0% and 10% in boxes A, B and C, respectively.

Is that allowable? Thanks!

no you can't. the rules say you musty use the same % for each column for any particular month but you can use different %'s for different months but always the each column for that month must used the same %
