      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;......they might have been paid by your Mortgage company.&amp;nbsp; Some people are allowed to pay the Real Setae/Property taxes themselves...but depending on the Mortage company, the Mort Company might have paid them.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;IF the Mortgage company paid them, the amounts will be listed on your Form 1098, and will be entered in the same menu line where you enter your Mortgage statement.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;___________&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you Paid the Property taxes yourself, then there is a separate menu line listed as Property Taxes where you enter those $$ paid during 2022.&amp;nbsp; People who no longer have mortgages also use that menu line.&amp;nbsp; BUT, you don't enter them twice....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
