Claiming the Middle Class tax refund.

Im trying to obtain my Middle class Tax refund when I file my taxes this year. Does turbo tax give the option to claim it when filing taxes this year?

No, you will not be able to get the middle class refund on your tax return. This is something that the State of California issues on their own and is not claimed on your tax return. Please refer to the link that xmasbaby0 provided above.

@DaveF1006 Unless I misunderstood, I think the user is trying to GET the middle class tax refund on their 2022 return---not enter that they received it.

Claiming a stimulus payment (if you didn't get it) was only for the 3 federal Stimulus payments on your 2020 and 2021 returns. Nothing you can get for 2022 federal or the CA Middle Class Tax refund. You have to contract California or the Money Card.
