      <description>&lt;P&gt;there's a difference between supplies (like envelopes packaging )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and materials for the product.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can only deduct the cost of materials that went into the products you sold.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Supplies are a separate line item.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/5167695"&gt;@dlabelle112&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
