I was only given a partial payment for my solar panels, how do I get the remainder this year

Type 'home energy improvement' in the Search area, then click on 'Jump to home energy improvement' to get to this section.

TurboTax asks if you had a credit carryover. Check your Form 5695, Line 16 from last year to see the amount.

There is not an amount on line 16, I only received a partial payment, when I filed my taxes last year it said I would get the remaining amount his year. I begun to complete my taxes this year but did not get the balance

The amount that will carry forward to 2022 is on line 16 of your 2021 for 5695. If the amount on that form is zero then you either used the whole credit or didn't have a credit available to carry into this year. It sounds like you should check your 2021 return to make sure that everything was entered correctly and consult with whoever told you that you would have a further credit this year.
