To add another provider or more expenses for the same child:

Login to your account.
Select Federal from the left menu.
Go to Deductions and Credits.
Scroll down to Child and Dependent Care Credit and click Update.
Answer Yes to the question " Do you want to review you Child and Dependent Care Credit information?"
Continue to the screen Here is what you spent on Care providers.
Select Add another care Provider

Click here for more information on the Child and Dependent Care Credit.

Let's try another way. You can add as many child care providers that you used during the tax year.

Sign into your TurboTax account
Use the search box (upper right) > type child care > enter > click the Jump to... link
Continue to the screen 'Here's what we have so far'
Click Add Expense for Another (see image below)
Add the second child care provider

That isn’t an option. I know how to get to the child care portion, it will only allow me to add expenses for my two children, I won’t give the option to add two daycares for one child.

I have an add button but it’s adding another dependent which isn’t what I’m looking for.

I’ve tried it on the computer and the app on my phone I have the same results on both.

Look at the screen after "Here's what we have so far." You are correct that adding "one" on this screen lets you add another dependent, not the additional care provider that you want.

Continue to the next screen, which should be "Here's what you spent on care providers" (or maybe "Let's get some info about your care provider" - the heading varies with what you have previously entered).

The first time you enter any care provide information, you get "Let's get some info about your care provider". On the next screen it will show a table of your care providers (one, so far). On this screen ("Here's what you spent on care providers"), there is a button under the table of care providers, "Add Another Care Provider" - click on this button to add a second care provider.

Thank you, but it’s not an option. I’ve gone through it a multitude of times. The only reason one daycare is in there is because it was pulled from the previous years. It never asked if I wanted to change or add another daycare.

After you enter the amount you paid for day care and Continue, do you see a page titled "Here are the care providers you used in 2022"? This page should list the provider you used last year and also have a colored link at the bottom to "Add Another Care Provider." (screenshot below)

If you are still not seeing this page or the link, try clearing your browser cache and cookies following these instructions:

Then restart TurboTax and return to the Dependent Care section. See if you can add another provider after this process.
