Can't edit 1099-SA contributions amount

I entered information for 1099-SA, the form needed for HSA. After I did that by entering numbers shown in the 1099-SA boxes, the next step said "Let's work on Sara's HSA"... So continuing to do that it says "Did Sara put money into an HSA in 2022?" and I did, so after I click YES i get this screen, where you can see it shows $0.00 for "2022 employer and payroll contributions" and it doesn't let me edit it. I did contribute to the plan in 2022 (and the amount is shown in box 12 of my W2), so why can't I edit / add to that field?

If this is an issue with the app, you probably should contact Support. How do I contact TurboTax? (intuit.com)

Please clarify if you reviewed your entries from your W-2 and included the amount from Box 12 for HSA contributions. This is the source of the number on the first line ($0 in your screenshot).

I have not found anywhere to enter box 12 from my W2.

This is the first step of entering HSA information - this info comes from the 1099-SA.

Then I'm asked "did Sara put money into an HSA in 2022"

I did, so here's the next screen and it doesn't give me an option to enter Box 12 of the W2, only gives me the option to input $ I may have added directly (not through my employer), which I didn't do.

After clicking Continue on the previous screen this is the next view, a summary that does not include the number from Box 12 of my W2 that was contributed in 2022. I assume that $ would appear next to "Tax-free employer contributions".

Could it be, that the amount contributed is not considered as part of this tax process because I only actually used $4,776 of it? Does the amount contributed not actually matter to filing taxes?

Well I found the problem! I imported my w2 and didn't confirm that box 12 was filled in, and it wasn't. So after adding that info the HSA stuff looks right.

As @TurboTaxVal states the source of the employer contribution number is the W2 entries in "Wages and Income."

Once you enter the Code W in box 12 in TurboTax you will be presented with the opportunity to select to which HSAs the contributions were made. There you can put the amount that went to your spouse's HSA. Keep in mind the amount in Box 12 with a code W is already not included in your taxable income on the W2.

If you or your spouse contributed to an HSA outside of the payroll system, you would add that amount in the editable contributions box on your screenshot.
