      <description>&lt;P&gt;Only if you would file a joint return.&amp;nbsp; When you file separate, the IRS specifically excludes certain tax credits.&amp;nbsp; The education credits are one of them. Others include the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child and Dependent Care Credit.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
