Can I cash my refund check outside the US ?

I am a summer camp worker who does not live in the US, I am claiming my taxes back But I am not familiar chasing paychecks

If you are in a foreign country the IRS will not make a direct deposit to a foreign bank. They will only mail you a check. You will need to talk to your bank. We have no idea what the banks in your country will allow---we do not even know what country you are in. It is usually easier if you open an account or have an account with the bank---then you can deposit the check yourself and make a withdrawal later.

Hi, thanks for your help. I am in Colombia and I have a bank account here. my question is if I can cash that check in my bank - Bancolombia.

You must ask your own bank. We cannot tell you if your bank will cash your refund check or require you to deposit it and wait for it to clear first before allowing you to take the money out.
