topic 1098-T box 7 in Deductions & credits

1098-T box 7

My 1098-T statement shows the text for box 7 as "Check this box if the amount in box 1 or 2 includes amounts for an academic period beginning January - March 2021"

However my Desktop TurboTax lists the dates as "January - March 2022"

Which is correct? My answer is different depending on which year I should be answering about.

Box 7 indicates, if checked, that Box 1 includes amounts for an academic period beginning in the next calendar year.

If the 1098T is for the year 2021, the correct answer is the amount in box 1 or 2 includes amounts for an academic period beginning January - March 2022.
