What date should be entered for foreign tax paid for a single-stock holding where in 2021:

Foreign tax was paid on 3/29

The stock was sold on 5/28

A foreign tax paid refund was issued on 6/03

If that single stock is the only foreign issue, then there is no form 1116 required because your net foreign tax paid for TY2021 is zero.

I neglected to specify that there was a net tax paid of $3.16! Will the date 7/01 suffice to specify that it was paid at the half-year point?
