Hi ALL, I am a realtor and have give commission rebate to buyers outside of the transaction. I have issued 1099 to the buyers. Where do i enter this expense/deduction.

list as an expense on schedule C - commission rebates.

If you used TurboTax to issue the 1099's it is automatically entered. If you are using TurboTax self-employed, and did not use TurboTax to issue the 1099's then you would enter them under miscellaneous expenses.

To enter your expense for these rebates click the following:

Income and Expenses
Update next to your business income and expenses
Edit
Add Expense
Add next to Other Miscellaneous Expenses
Continue
Add the amount you paid in rebates
